See how it’s built
- The cupsole. A one-piece white sole that wraps up around the upper, like the classic court sneakers it’s modelled on. About 3cm, like most chunky white sneakers, with a textured toe band, a heel-side groove and a chevron tread with a pivot circle under the ball of the foot.
- The lift. 3cm or 5cm, built into the heel of the shoe. It’s shaped like a heel: highest at the back, tapering toward the toes, so the extra height sits right where your heel does. Fixed in place, not a loose insert, so nothing slides around underfoot.
- The footbed. A cushioned footbed with a breathable mesh top, fixed over the lift.
- The collar. A padded heel collar lined in soft textile, with a firm heel counter behind it.

About +3cm or +5cm compared with your usual sneakers, depending on the lift you choose. The lift inside the heel is 3cm or 5cm, and the sole is about as thick as any chunky sneaker's, so the lift is roughly what you gain.
From the outside, the Apex looks like a chunky white leather sneaker, a style you see everywhere. The extra height sits inside the heel rather than stacked underneath, so the shoe doesn't look tall.
You're back to your usual height. That's why there are two heights: pick the difference you're comfortable living with.
+3cm is the smaller change, and the easier start if you've never worn a lift. +5cm is the full lift, for weddings, nights out and group photos.
